"All things are possible until they are proved impossible -- and even the impossible may only be so, as of now."   - Pearl S. Buck, writer and humanitarian

Each moment is alive with infinite potential. It is only my awareness of the potential in the moment that potentially limits what's possible in that moment! Meaning, what I am aware of is possible -- what I am not aware of is not.

To increase the possibilities in any given moment I must increase my awareness in that moment. Increasing my awareness is accomplished through exercising my attention, which is currently a weak psychological muscle. As GF says, as goes our attention, so follows our experience. If my attention wanders to a negative memory, my experience of that moment is confined by and seen through that negativity -- and thus the moment's possibility is limited by the negativity. I must practice keeping my attention on the one thing that is not limited by any pre-existing or defined outcomes -- the present moment. Only the present moment holds all possibility in it -- not the confines of the past or the rigidity of an imagined future. Awareness in the present moment allows me to choose from all possibilities, which determines the path I take through experience.
